The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff at 5:30 PM with board members present excluding Brad Wolf.
Minutes of the previous meeting were presented y Clerk Fall. Motion to approve made by Chuck Richards, second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried.
Treasurer Nelson presented the financial update. She noted a balance in the general checking account of $364,625,36 which included tax deposits. She also gave update on CDs with balances and maturity dates. Motion made to accept the report by Maynard Hoff, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Phil gave a brief update on highway and equipment.
Board discussed getting more details on potentially putting the zoning question on a ballot later this year.
Use of the ballfield was discussed. Scheduling will be handled through the Prairie Farm Community Ed. No formal agreement will be made.
Public comment: JoAnn Crowe was present to hear more information regarding potential zoning for Town of Arland. Robert Nelson spoke to the Board regarding the Trap Club’s use of the range that he has leased to them. He expressed his approval of ONLY picnic licenses for beer and wine sales at the range.
Bills were presented for consideration. Motion to approve all for payment was made by Maynard Hoff, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Next meeting date will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026 beginning at 5:30 PM with the Financial Audit, followed by the regular meeting.
