A special meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman Maynard Hoff at 7:30 PM on Monday, May6, 2013 at the Town Hall. Purpose of the meeting was to open and review bids for a new town truck.
No minutes or reports were given.
Bids were presented from four companies: Eau Claire Mack & Volvo Truck, Riverstates Truck & Trailer, Midstate and Allstate Peterbilt.
After discussion and consideration, a motion was made by Maynard Hoff to accept the proposal and bid from Freightliner-with River States Truck & Trailer along with the Monroe Truck Equipment Package. A second was made by Robert Nelson. Motion carried. Total bid was $114,109.00
Brad Wolf made a motion to adjourn, with a second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:50 PM.
