The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff at 7:30 PM, with all board members present. Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion was made by Robert Nelson, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried. Treasurer’s report was given by Jodene Nelson, noting a balance of $709,572.33. Motion to accept by Nelson, second by Wolf. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff gave the highway maintenance update. Sharon Masek from Superior Silica Sands gave her update on the current sand mining activity. Mines will all be shut down soon, with the dry plants slowing down.
Some discussion was held on residents obtaining building permits. Consideration will be given for more discussion current building inspections being done. Town will seek legal advice on current ordinance and discuss at a future meeting.

The bills were presented for payment. Motion to approve all for payment by Maynard Hoff, second by Nelson. Motion carried.
Next meeting was set for December 9, 2015 at 8 PM. Motion to adjourn by Nelson, second by Wolf. Motion carried.
