The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff. Present: Robert Nelson, Brad Wolf, Jodene Nelson, Phil Hoff. Absent-Pam Fall.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by Treasurer, Jodene Nelson. Motion to approve was made by Robert Nelson, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Financial update was given by Jodene Nelson, Treasurer. Balance in the general fund is $334,886.71, which includes the CD for $106,767.28 which recently matured and was deposited into the general fund. Motion to accept was made by Brad Wolf, second by Robert Nelson. Motion carried.
No Superior Silica Sands report.
No public comment.
Highway update was given by Phil Hoff. He noted that Kevin Wendt will take measurements of the town shop and give a price on tin. Also discussed culvert replacements.
Board discussed the application available for state aid for culvert replacement. County is billing it out under flood damage/cost sharing. Motion made by Maynard Hoff to approve this application, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Bills were presented for approval. Motion to approve was made by Brad Wolf, second by Robert Nelson. Motion carried.
Board has questions about the higher billing amount from Xcel Energy. Will check with Clerk Fall at the next meeting.
