The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff, on August 13 2019 at 7:00 PM. All board members were present.
Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion was made to approve by Brad Wolf, second by Robert Nelson. Carried.
Treasurer, Jodene Nelson gave the financial update. Motion was made to accept as presented by Brad Wolf, second by Robert Nelson. Carried.
Current general fund balance is $397,701.82. 2 CDs held by the town will be due in January 2020. Tax settlement should be coming in August.
Phil Hoff gave the update on the highway maintenance and equipment.
Superior Silica Sands report was given by Sharon Masek. She explained the current bankruptcy filing process by SSS,
Bills were presented for consideration. Motion was made by Brad Wolf, second by Robert Nelson to approve all for payment. Motion carried.
Next meting date was set for Tuesday, September 10th, at 7:00 PM.
