The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman Maynard Hoff with all board members present. Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the October 12 ,2021 meeting. Motion to approve by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richard. Motion carried.
Treasurer, Jodene Nelson, presented the treasurer’s update. Motion to accept the report was made by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried. Jodene noted a current general account balance of $455,289.91
Phil Hoff gave an update on highway maintenance noting quote he has received fro Fahrner for bridge deck sealing. Board will continue to discuss this work. Board also discussed the purchase (on line auction) of pallet forks. Chuck will be authorized to bid up to $500. Phil was also authorized to purchase supplies at Menards as needed. He reported that he is still mowing ditches.
Duana Bremmer was present to discuss the current status of work being done at the Family House. they are very busy getting bids for architect and hope to get one in place soon. She noted that one the Stat has looked at the plans, she will need to present to the Town for renewal as well. Family House will host a group breaking ceremony on Thursday, November 18th at 9:00 AM. Board members are invited to attend. Two management positions have been filled. SA is currently very busy scheduling volunteers to do their annual bell ringing.

Motion was made by Maynard Hoff, second by Brad Wolf to approve the following individuals as members of the Election Board. Debra Scribner, Sharon Bringman, Sandy Bruder, Stephanie Roberts and Cindi Nelson. Motion carried
Maynard reported he is working on the LRIP grant project.
Bills were presented for review. Motion to approve all for payment was made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
