The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff, with all board members present. Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the September 6, 2018 meeting, followed by a motion to approve by Robert Nelson, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried. Treasurer, Jodene Nelson presented the financial update, noting a general fund balance of $309,266.36 as of the meeting date. Motion was made to accept the report a presente, by Brad Wolf, second by Robert Nelson. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff gave a report on highway work, noting that crack sealing nor black topping is likely to be completed this fall due to poor weather conditions. He updated the board on equipment repairs needed.
Sharon Masek gave an update from Superior Silica Sans on layoffs and road work scheduled.

Bills were presented for payment. Motion to approve all for payment by Robert Nelson, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Discussion the proposed voucher offer to property owners for hauling items to the Barron Co Waste to Energy – Incinerator. Motion was made by Robert Nelson, second by Brad Wolf to authorize a $25.00 voucher to each property owner in Town of Arland – valid for on month -0 May 1 – 31, 2019 Motion carried. The voucher will be included in the statement of taxes sent by the Treasurer.
Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday – November 13, 2018 as follows; Regular meeting at 7:00 M, Budget and Special Meeting at 7:30 or immediately following the regular meeting.
