The regular meeting of the Board f the Town of Arland was called to order at 6:00 PM by Chairman, Maynard Hoff, with all board members present.
Clerk Fall presented the minutes from the previous meeting. Discussion followed. Motion to approve was made by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Treasure, Jodene Nelson presented the financial update. Discussion followed. She noted a balance in the general checking account of $360,555.74 as of October 31, 2022. She also reported on balances in the ARPA Savings and 2 CDs. Motion to accept by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff gave an update on current highway maintenance, noting one repairs needed foe the mower and gave update on snow plowing. He will be having Randy Wuorenma help again this winter.
Clerk all presented the ATV/UTV Ordinance – 2022-01. Discussion followed. Motion to approve by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
CSM for Degerman property was presented. Discussion followed. Motion was made by Brad Wolf to approve Chairman Hoff’s signature on the document prepared by Matt Shilts, second was made by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried
2022 Emergen y Operations Plan was presented for review and consideration. Discussion followed. Motion was made to approve the plan for signature by all board members by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried
Discussion was given to the unpaid fire call for Dan Zemke property. Clerk will send a certified letter to Mr. Zemke regarding the payment of this bill. Board agreed that if this bill wasn’t paid directly to the Town of Arland by a set date, full charge of $1,025.00 would be placed on Mr. Zemke’s property tax statement as a special assessment. Motion was made by Chuck Richards to take the agreed action, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried
Bills were presented for review. Discussion followed. Motion to approve all bills for payment was made by Brad Wolf second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried
Next meeting was set for Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 6:00 PM.
Board was reminded of the annual meeting hosted by the Barron County Highway, to be held on Thursday, November 17th at Mosaic.
