The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff, with all board members present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were presented by Clerk Fall, followed by a motion to approve by Brad Wolf, second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried
Treasurer’s update was given by Jodene Nelson. Motion to accept by Brad Wolf, second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried. Town CDs are due by July 3 and 5. totaling approximately $607,000 Discussion by Board followed on the reinvestment plan. Consensus by board was to deposit $200,000. into the general checking and reinvest the balance into two 60-month CDs. Jodene will handle the transactions.
Robert Nelson bought a request before the Board on dividing a portion of his property. Surveyor request the authorization from the Town of Arland Board. Motion to approve the request was made by Brad Wolf, second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried. Nelson abstained.
Highway maintenance and equipment update was given. by Phil Hoff. He reviewed brush cutting and logging along 6 1/2 ave. Also Culver request by Keller driveway. Phil also presented a bid on painting the Town Shop. – $4,372.00. Some repairs would be needed on the wall outside. No decision was made at this tine to go forward without repairs.
Sharon Masek gave a brief update from Superior Silica Sands. She discussed the restructuring process as SSS has filed bankruptcy.

Bills were presented for review. Motion to approve all as presented by Bra Wolf, second by Robert Nelson. Motion carried.
