The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 6:30 PM. All board members were present.
Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the August 10 2021 meeting. Motion was made by Chuck Richards to approve, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried. Treasurer, Nelson presented the financial update. She noted a balance in the general checking account of $433,662.54 which included the August tax settlement from Barron County. Motion to accept was made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Notion carried.
Duana Bremer from Salvation Army was present to give the update on the Family House project on 12th St in Arland Township. Some progress has been made. but have found some roadblocks with the renovating and remodeling. Official opening is now scheduled for January 2022. They have had sone success in relocating the tenants that were living there. They hope to have key people hired for the management positions soon.
Phil Hoff gave a highway and equipment update, noting that he is mowing daily. He discussed some needed equipment update for the loader. Clerk Fall noted that Phil had helped in completing the Disaster Aids application for the damage done on 7 1/2 St last June 2020. The application has been completed and submitted. The payment requested is 4,521.44
Board review the current status of the Prinsen/Jackson fencing project. Chuck reported that he has been working with Amundson Service from Rice Lake, WI. They have agreed to do the fencing project as proposed and will e available in the next few days. Chuck will represent the Town of Arland and be in contact with the as this develops. Board suggested that some law enforcement support may be needed.
Bills were presented for review and payment. Discussion followed. Motion to approve all for payment was made by Brad Wolf second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried,

Clerk noted a meeting of WTA Barron and Burnette County units at Anert on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. This will be a opportunity to discuss options available for use of ARPA funds. Clerk Fall will attend on behalf of the Town of Arland.
