The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff, with all board members present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were presented by Clerk Fall. Discussion followed. Motion to approve was made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Treasurer Nelson presented a financial update, She noted a current checking balance of $180,434.62. She also noted one of the CDs was maturing. Discussion followed. Board suggested that the maturing CD should be deposited into the checking account until next month. Board will consider combining with additional funds or maturing CD at the end of June. Motion to accept the report was made by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff requested the board considering hiring Remi Hoff again for lawn mowing. Board approve the request. Phil also discussed attending MSHA training on May 21st at the County Highway facility. Board also approved this request. Phi discussed needing repainting the underside of the Peterbuilt. Board approved his request. Phil continues to secure quotes on a new truck. Board discussed getting quotes on cement for 4 ft apron around the shop and hall buildings. Contractors possible are Chris Hoff, Berghammers, and Rick Miller. Board will reviewed the road trip regarding a maintenance plan.
Maynard noted that the LRIP application for the Town was denied.

Bills were presented for consideration. Motion to approve all for payment was made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
