The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff at 6:33 PM. Clerk Fall was not present. All other board members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were presented by Treasurer, Jodene Nelson. Motion to approve was made by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Treasurer, Jodene Nelson presented the financial update. She noted a current balance in the general checking account of $122,619.56. Current CDs include – $200,000 – 6 month term, $313,591.66 – 1 yr term, Savings account $39,680. Motion made by Brad Wolf to accept report, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Phil gave a highway report, noting that he had changed locks on town shop as well as general road maintenance.

Chuck reported that he is still looking into the smart thermostat.
Bills were presented for review. Motion was made to approve all for payment by Brad Wolf second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Board discussed BOR training. Annual WTA District meetings are set. Board will attend one of the meetings to comply with the training.
No correspondence.
Employee contract for Philip Hoff was presented. Discussion followed. Motion was made to raise Phil’s hourly wage to $22.00/hr. by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried. Brad Wolf will be Phil’s supervisor. No other changes were made to his contract.
