The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order at 6:35 PM, by Chairman, Maynard Hoff, with all board members present. Minutes of the previous meeting were presented by Clerk Fall. Motion to approve was made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried,
Treasurer Nelson presented the financial update. She noted a balance in the general checking account of $331.195.51 as of March 31, also two CDs totaling approximately $513,000, and ARPA savings balance of $39,680. Motion was made to accept the report by Chuck Richards and second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Board members submitted their certifications for Board of Review that were completed at the district WTA meeting recently.
Clerk Fall presented a proposal to purchase an additional electronic voting machine. Discussion followed. Motion was made by Maynard Hoff, second by Chuck Richards to approve the purchase. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff gave a brief update on highway maintenance, noting the patching work he has been doing as well as repairs needed for the patching trailer.
Duana Bremmer presented an update on work being done at the Family House. The staff has been very busy. The have been working with the architect. Plans will be submitted to the State for approval. She will continue to keep the Town updated as remodeling is completed. Duan offered her thanks for the use of the Town’s chairs at a recent event they sponsored.

Bills were presented for review. Discussion followed. Motion to approve all for payment was made by Brad Wolf, second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried.
Next meeting was set for Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 6:30 PM at the town hall.
No date was set for the Board of Review.
