The Annual Meeting of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff, with all board members present and two additional residents.
Minutes of the 2018 Annual Meeting were presented by Clerk Fall. Motion to approve the minutes was made by Brad Wolf, second by Robert Nelson. Motion carried.
The Annual Financial Report was presented. Clerk Fall reviewed items and members discussed entries. Discussion followed. Motion to approve the Annual Report was made by Maynard Hoff, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Highway report and plan was presented by Phil Hoff. Discussion followed. No action taken.
Motion was made to name the Sterling Bank as the working bank for the Town of Arland by Brad Wolf, second by Robert Nelson. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Robert Nelson, second by Brad Wolf to authorize Jodene Nelson and Pamela Fall as official representatives of the Town of Arland for financial matters and transactions at the Sterling Bank in Barron. Motion carried.
Next Annual Meeting is scheduled for 3rd Tuesday in April 2020.
Sharon Masek gave her annual report from Superior Silica Sands.
Reminder and discussion was given on the Spring Clean Up – Voucher program with the Barron Co Incinerator. This runs from May 1 through May 31, 2019. Residents will receive $25.00 voucher value, residents must have the voucher to receive the credit.
