The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff, with all board members present at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion to approve was made by Brad Wolf, second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried.
Treasurer Nelson presented a financial update. She noted a current balance in the general checking of $201,477.92. She reported that she had completed the Tax Letter and was ready to send for printing. Motion was made to accept the report by Maynard Hoff, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff gave an update on highway work and on pickup repairs.
CSM requested from Jim Scheffler was presented to the board for consideration. Motion made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards to approve for signature of Chairman Hoff. Motion carried.
Family House brief update was provided by Phil Hoff. Salvation Army is still considering using the tiny houses. The big building is scheduled to be torn down.
No Public Comment
Bills were presented for review. Motion to approve all for payment by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff and Chuck Richards requested the use of the Town Hall for meetings and practice by the Trap Team. Board members concurred that this would be allowed, with respect to protecting the internal walls and maintained safety. Chuck also gave an update on the all field work.
Next meeting was set for Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
