The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 6:00 PM with all board members present.
Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion to approve by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Treasurer Nelson presented the financial update. She noted a balance in the general checking account of $365,266.06, which included tax collections from January. She also reported that the Town currently holds 4 CDs totaling approx $850,000. Motion was made to accept the report as presented by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
The Board held a conference call with Atty Paul Mahler regarding the proposed Sub-Divison Ordinance. The draft was reviewed with Mr Mahler, addressing each item. Board was able to ask questions and discuss concerns. Board will continue to review this draft and work with Atty Mahler.
Phil Hoff gave a highway update. He is working with Barron County on bridge repairs and inspections. Board recommended that Phil post weight limits on 10 1/2 Ave bridge – at 20 ton limit. Discussion followed. Motion to approve the posting by Maynard Hoff, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried. More discussion will follow on culvert work as well.

Next meeting was set for Tuesday, March 11, 2025 – financial audit at 5:30 PM, regular meeting at 6:00 PM.
Clerk Fall reminded the Board of the Spring Primary to be held on Tuesday, February 18th.
