The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 7:00 PM with all members present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were presented by Clerk Fall. Motion made to approve by Chuck Richards, second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried.
Treasurer Nelson gave the financial update. She noted a balance in the general checking as of May 31, 2025 of $197,934.76. Also noted was the status of two CDs set to mature in June. Discussion followed. Motion made by Chuck Richards to accept the treasurer’s report, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried. Motion made by Maynard Hoff to renew the maturing CDs, combining them into one, into a 12-month term – at 4.01% APY, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff gave the highway report, noting the truck is on schedule to be assembled by December. He also discussed need for gravel pile and will secure what is needed.

Bills were presented for review. Motion to approve all for payment made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Board authorized setting up information meeting with Barron Co Land Services Director, Dave Gifford. This Special Meeting will allow Q & A on land use and zoning ordinance in Barron County.
Next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 7:00 PM immediately following the BOR. Open Book is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, 2025 – 2:30 – 4:30 PM. Board of Review is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2025 – 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
