The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, with all board members present.
Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion to approve was made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Treasurer Nelson presented the financial update. She noted a balance as of Feb. 28th of $202,606.73 in the general checking. She also gave a review of the CDs currently held by the Town.
Motion was made to approve the audit of the 2024 Financial Records by Maynard Hoff, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff gave an update on highway work being considered, including bridge and culvert work. Board also discussed the removal of the bathrooms at the ballfield. Board agreed to have repairs made rather than replacing with port-a-potties.
The Sub-division ordinance consideration will be discussed at future meetings.
Maynard presented a request for possible purchase/sale of one of the Town of Arland liquor licenses. We will continue to get more information from the attorney and the interested party.

Correspondence was reviewed.
Next meeting will be Tuesday, April 15, 2025 – regular meeting at 6:00 PM followed by the annual meeting.
