The regular meeting of the Board of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff. All bosard members were present.
Clerk Fall presented the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion to approve made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards. Motion carried.
Treasurer Nelson presented the financial update. She noted a balance in the general checking of $242,514.15. Also gave a summary of the CDs currently held by the Town at an estimate of $850,000. Some discussion was held on unpaid services. Motion to accept report was made by Chuck Richards, second by Brad Wolf. Motion carried.
Discussion was given to the Special Meeting scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 11th regarding information on adopting county zoning. Letters will be sent last week of October to all residents and property owners in the township. Board members put together letters after the meeting.
Phil gave a brief update on highway maintenance.
Bills were presented for review. Motion to approve all for paymendt was made by Brad Wolf, second by Chuck Richards.
No correspondence. No Public Comment.
Next meeting was set for Tuesday, November 11, 2026 – regular meeting at 5:00 PM followed by the Budget Hearing and Special Meeting for setting levy. The zoning informational meeting will begin at 6:30 PM.
