The Annual Meeting of the Town of Arland was called to order by Chairman, Maynard Hoff on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 6:56 PM.
Minutes of the 2024 Annuyal Meeting were presented by Clerk Fall. Motion approve was made by Chuck Richards, second by Jodene Nelson. Motion carried.
Clerk Fall presented the 2024 Financial report. Discussion followed. Motion to approve was made by Brad Wolf, second by Maynard Hoff. Motion carried.
Motion made by Chuck Richards, second by Phil Hoff to approve the Sterling Bank of Barron to be the working bank for the Town of Arland. Motion carried.
Motion made by Brad Wolf, second by Connie Hoff to approve Jodene Nelson and Pamela Fall as the financial representatives for the town of Arland. Motion carried.
Phil Hoff presented the Road Maintenance Plan for 2025-2026. He reviewed that bridges will be prioritized for maintenance. He also discussed a 5- year road maintenance plan. Phil noted that he hopes to have the new truck by fall. Motion by Jodene Nelson, second by Autumn Hoff to approve the report. Motion carried.
Autumn Hoff gave an update on the Family House. They continue to secure housing for homeless and tjhose in need. Still hoping to build tiny houses.
Next annual meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
Chuck gave an update from the WTA district meeting he attended.
